20th Century House Tour on June 1st To Benefit The Chestnut Hill Historical Society

Self-Guided Tour:
Includes five outstanding mid-century Modern houses designed by the following architects: Oskar Stonorov, Newcomb Montgomery & Robert Bishop, James A. Nolen (remodeled by Runyan & Associates) and Mark Ueland.

Docent Tour:
Incudes the self-guided tour plus a guided tour of the Esherick House, designed by Louis Kahn, and the Vanna Venturi House, designed by Robert Venturi.

Ticket Prices:
Self-Guided Tour: General public $30
Self-Guided Tour: Chestnut Hill Historical Society members $15
Advance registration is strongly recommended.
Docent Tours: All tickets are $100. Places are strictly limited and advance registration is required.

Restrictions:
No children under 12. The tour involves moderate walking and stairs. It is not wheelchair accessible, but we will try to accommodate people with limited mobility.

Please Note:
High heels are not permitted and booties will be provided for the self-guided tour; non-skid socks will be provided for the docent tour.

Tour benefits the Chestnut Hill Historical Society.

On Sunday, May 5th from 11am-5pm, Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill blossoms into an Outdoor Garden Marketplace when Chestnut Hill Hosts its 17th Annual Home and Garden Festival

About The Event:
Enjoy the many things Chestnut Hill has to offer in this wonderful spring marketplace including a large variety of plants and flowers, 20 vendors offering sustainable products, live music, children’s games and amusements and delicious offerings from the many Chestnut Hill restaurants.
