Kathleen Dydek

Kate is a dedicated realtor who finds joy in helping first-time buyers discover their ideal starter home. She is passionate about guiding her buyer and seller clients through the complexities of the real estate process, ensuring they feel informed and supported at every step. Currently, Kate is expanding her expertise by studying for her real estate appraiser’s license and pursuing a Green Designation to help clients create eco-friendly, sustainable home environments.

After attending Merion Mercy Academy for highschool, Kate earned her degree in Anthropology from Temple University. Before joining Elfant Wissahickon, Kate spent many years as an Archaeological Field Director in Cultural Resource Management. Her love for historic preservation and archaeological research continues to inspire her work in real estate, as she values connecting people to their homes and communities with a sense of history and care.

A lifelong Pennsylvania resident, Kate loves exploring new neighborhoods while finding their best kept secrets. When she’s not assisting clients, she can be found hiking through the Wissahickon, backcountry camping, or enjoying her favorite pastimes—reading, photography, needlepoint, practicing Tai Chi, native gardening and taking long walks with her beloved hound dog, Holly.
