Wooder ice or ice Cream?

Favorite ice cream is definitely Alumni swirl ice cream from the Penn State Creamery.

What’s your favorite spot/neighborhood in the city?

I’ve lived in Fairmount for over 4 years, and it’s become my favorite neighborhood, mainly because of the small community feel it has. The perfect balance of a quiet, community feel while still being close enough to all the city has to offer. Realizing that Lemon Hill, which has so much history and relevance to the foundation of the city, is just next to Fairmount makes the area even more special. Besides the history, Lemon hill is an awesome area for runs, picnics, and amazing views of Kelly Drive and the Schuylkill river.

Beach vacation, mountain, or city trip?

My preferred vacation has always been to new cities, just wondering and getting lost in the city’s streets and discovering what it has to offer. London, Tel-Aviv, and Naples are ones that have left the biggest impression on me.

What do you grill for your perfect BBQ?

Eggplant, peaches and salmon.

What are new habits/hobbies during quarantine?

Crafting homeware and dining accessories.

What are you most excited about being a realtor?

Working with younger, first time buyers closer to my age and helping them navigate through their first real estate purchase.

Hardcovers or audiobooks?

Hardcover

What’s the most recent book you read?

The Center Cannot hold

Wooder ice or ice Cream?

Pop’s Water Ice at 13th and Oregon Avenue is my place and mango wooder ice is my order.

What’s your favorite spot/neighborhood in the city?

I live in South Philly but one of my favorite spots in the city is the Biopond on Penn’s campus behind the Zoology building.  It’s an incredibly peaceful city oasis full of wildlife, exotic plants, and lots of oxygen.

What’s your favorite part of Philadelphia’s rich history?

My favorite historical markers in Philly are ones that are still working, like Head House Square and its year round farmers market at 2nd and Pine.  And just as cool are the ruins of old sites like the western walls of Moyamensing Prison in my East Passyunk neighborhood.  The prison, now a bustling Acme with an amazing cheese section, was built in 1834, demolished in the sixties, still has large sections of its walls intact.. If you know where to look.

What are new habits/hobbies during quarantine?

I’ve really started to get into podcasts like “Talking Sopranos” and “Office Ladies” while organizing and cleaning out my basement.

What are you most excited about being a realtor?

I love the diversity and excitement of clients I get to work with from single first-time homebuyers and young families to investors both novice and experienced.  Closing on a home never gets old when you have happy clients..

Iced coffee or iced tea?

Iced Coffee!

What’s your favorite spot/neighborhood in the city?

This is so tough having lived here for 10 years! I feel like it changes every few years depending on where I’m living. Now that I’m in Pennsport, being near Dickinson Square is so special. Huge trees, plenty of benches, a playground, and a few good coffee shops nearby to have a socially-distanced hang in the park!

Beach vacation, mountain, or city trip?

Mountain! I own a cabin in the Catskills, so definitely love being secluded and in nature when I’m looking to escape the city.

What do you grill for your perfect BBQ?

The perfect BBQ includes local sausages and meats (from Primal Supply Meats!), a fresh salad (roasted corn & tomatoes…) with a lot of herbs, and cold potato salad!

What moved you to become a realtor?

I’m super passionate about houses, design, and hospitality. So taking care of clients, while helping them find amazing spaces is not only engaging for me, but comes naturally! I also was tired of sitting at a desk all day… which I think is why most people become realtors!
