With the exception of a few years for college, I am a lifelong Philadelphian, growing up in East Falls and attending high school at Penn Charter and working weekends at Elfant Wissahickon Realtors since I was 13 years old. After graduating from the University of Miami with degrees in Creative Writing and History, I decided to get my real estate license instead of heading to law school. I’ve been a licensed realtor with Elfant Wissahickon Realtors since 2010 and I’ve never looked back. Coming into the real estate industry, still recovering from the financial crisis of 2008, I’ve seen the lowest lows and the craziest peaks.
Early in my real estate career, I worked as an assistant to Louise D’Alessandro, co-founder of Elfant Wissahickon Realtors. Since then, I joined the Karrie Gavin Group, where we have been one of the most productive teams in the city year in and year out, helping 100s of folks buy and sell real estate over the years. I have my associate broker license and serve as Industry Liaison for Elfant Wissahickon, attending national conferences and networking with other industry leaders to stay on the forefront of real estate.
I have been active with the Greater Philadelphia Association of Real Estate since 2016, serving on many committees, in various roles. I am thrilled to be the 2022 President of GPAR. I have been active with the National Museum of American Jewish History, The Cheva, Tribe 12 and other jewish organizations in Philadelphia. I was a board member of the Center City Residents Association in 2015 and 2016 and a member of the East Falls Community Council prior to that. I am a long-time supporter of the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society and Legacy Youth Tennis.
I live in Germantown with my wife, Caylynn and son, Elijah and our two dogs, Lego and Gatsby. In my free time, I can be found throwing axes competitively at Urban Axes or competing in Canada, playing tennis at Germantown Cricket Club or disc golfing in Fairmount Park (or ‘throwing frisbees in the woods with friends’ as my wife describes it).
