I moved to Philadelphia nearly 20 years ago and immediately fell in love with this city. I’ve come to know the personality of our special neighborhoods, and I’m proud to call Philadelphia my home. Prior to moving here, I lived in Liverpool in the 1960s, next to Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields where I was educated, and Istanbul Turkey with my family. I am bi-lingual in English and Turkish.
Before becoming an agent, I was head of compliance and quality control for over 21 years in the Garments Industry. Quality and compliance have always been my passion, and they continue to be a part of my work as a Realtor®.
I decided to become a real estate agent after watching my wife and real estate agent, Lisette Tarragano, help people and families find their dream homes. I wanted to contribute and make people smile; navigating clients to find their closest fit. Helping people is my primary goal.
Most people in my neighborhood of Washington Square West recognize me from walking my black greyhound rescue, Fiona Finch. Most people say hello to Fiona first and I’m just an afterthought. I’m involved with The Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania and am a member of the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association. Working with charities and assisting in making people better members of society is my passion in life. I believe one can only lead by example and help those who seek help.
I’ve had the privilege of traveling to over 58 countries. When people ask which is the one that I like best, I always answer that I loved every one of them. Every country is unique with its people and culture. Antarctica, Mauritius, and Galapagos Islands are some of the more remote locations I’ve visited.
