Katey McGrath

Katey McGrath is Vice President and Director of Operations for Elfant Wissahickon Realtors, overseeing planning, development and management of the company’s non-sales departments, including finance, IT, human resources, special projects departments, et al.  She manages strategy and policy development and implementation for the ownership of the organization.

She has been with EWR since 2000, working in myriad roles, has been licensed as a real estate agent since 2005, and has also worked as a resource consultant with a variety of small businesses and non-profits.  She has helped many of our Realtors and teams with their business planning, marketing and technology strategy.

Katey cares strongly about the vitality of the city’s neighborhoods. She works regularly with neighborhood associations to strengthen ties between business and public education communities, building relationships through her work with the Friends of Neighborhood Education, the board of the Friends of J. S. Jenks Elementary School, Philly CORE Leaders, the Mt Airy Schools Coalition, and as co-chair of the Philadelphia Public School Notebook, an independent news organization serving the stakeholders of the Philadelphia School District.

A Philadelphia native, Katey is a graduate of public schools K-12, and continued her studies at Drexel University, Community College of Philadelphia and Temple University.  She is an alumna of Young Involved Philadelphia’s Board Prep Training and currently completing the Leadership Philadelphia Core Program. Katey is passionate about LGBT and women’s rights, Philly sports teams, her garden, her husband Steven and their two young sons, Sonny and Danny.
