Born and raised in Center City, Mae Larimore Johnson has spent the majority of her life in Philadelphia. She has first-hand knowledge of all the hidden and not-so-hidden gems that Philadelphia’s neighborhoods have to offer. Mae was educated at Julia Masterman School, Central High School, and Temple University. She has spent years working in Old City, Mt. Airy, and Rittenhouse. Mae has personal experience living in Fishtown, Germantown, Washington West, and now Society Hill.
Mae lives with her husband and two small children on a quiet street in her childhood home, located on the border of Queen Village and Society Hill. While the address may be the same as when her parents got their keys in 1976, the house looks very different today! For the last 10 years, Mae and her husband Travis have been updating and renovating the space to meet their growing family’s changing needs. You will likely catch Mae working on a new hands-on DIY project or exploring the neighborhood with her kids in her free time! She believes there is always another street to see or neighbor to meet.
Mae’s intense curiosity and eagerness to learn, coupled with a lifetime of homegrown experience, make her a human database of information about living in Philadelphia. As the newest member of the The CSJ Team, Mae hopes to share her experience as a mom and lifelong Philadelphia resident with her clients so they make the “stellar choice” when buying or selling their home.
