In 1983, after working in another brokerage for several years, I co-founded Wissahickon Realty with my business partner, and friend, Sue Friedland Young.
In 1993, Wissahickon Realty merged with the sales division of Martin Elfant Real Estate and became Elfant Wissahickon REALTORS. Now the largest independent brokerage in the Philadelphia region, Elfant Wissahickon REALTORS has over 100 agents in 3 regional offices and is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
My partners at Elfant Wissahickon REALTORS are Bob Elfant, Larry DiFranco, Paul Walsh, Asher Kahn and Katey McGrath, who are all committed to creating a professional atmosphere and to best practices to assure successful real estate transactions for their buyers and sellers.
As a representative of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors (GPAR) in the late Eighties, I helped manage the merger of seven multiple listing services to become TREND, the current multiple listing service of the Delaware Valley. In 1996, I served as president of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors and serve currently on several volunteer committees for the Association.
I practice real estate every day, and co-lead a team of dedicated REALTORS with my sales partner, Janice Manzi. Teamwork and cooperation are the hallmark of my success. I have personally represented over two thousand buyers and sellers in the past 39 years, from New Hope to Exton, with a concentration in the Philadelphia region. I strongly believe in the pursuit of home ownership because it creates independence, freedom, wealth, and community.
Educated in the public school system in Philadelphia, I received a BS in Education from Temple University. I am an Associate Broker of Elfant Wissahickon and hold multiple designations with the National Association of REALTORS (NAR).
Currently, I reside in Huntingdon Valley with my husband Richard Hamilton.
